Hi my name is Kathleen and I am the Office Manager. I started at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital in October 2004. I have my Management degree from Texas Tech University. I am married and have two wonderful kids. My family also includes Jake a shepherd/lab mix, Paula a beagle/pit mix, Bathtub a cat, and 3 box turtles in our garden. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family, watch football (especially the Cowboys), play with the pets, and work in the garden. I love working at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital because we treat every pet as they we were our own and the doctors are committed to providing the very best care available. Veterinary Technicians (Vet Techs)
Hello my name is Emilee and I am a certified vet tech. I started working at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital in May 2009. I graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2002. I also attended Midland College and received an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology Degree and registered Veterinary Technician status in 2004. When I am not working with one of my loves (animals), I love to be outdoors, fish, hunt, and watch football (mainly college, Go Red Raiders!). I recently married my boyfriend of 8 years and have a son named Cody. I also have 2 dogs, Taffy and Bailey, who I bottle-fed as a rescued pup. They are members of my family and we love them dearly. After working at different clinics and not finding my niche, I thought about changing careers until a friend mentioned AABPCH. I applied and got hired and it was the best decision I could have made. The doctors are great because they care about the quality of care and not the quantity. The appreciation for a great staff is in the air! Come by and meet us soon.
My name is Hannah and I joined the Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital Team in July 2007. I grew up in Lubbock, going to Preston Smith Elementary, Irons Junior High, and Coronado High School. I am currently attending Texas Tech studying Animal Science. My immediate family lives in Lubbock, with extended family spread out from Lubbock to Dallas and some in New Zealand. I love being with my family and friends and spending time with my animals. I have a dog named Max and two cats named Gunner and Tigger. I love working at Above and Beyond because I enjoy being around my co-workers and the clients that come in to the hospital. I could not have picked a better place to work at and enjoy learning more about domestic animals each day. It will be great to see you!
My name is Kelsey, and I started working at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital in February 2008. I attended Frenship High School and graduated from there in May of 2006. While at Frenship, I took many dual-credit classes and also completed the Nurse-Aid program through University Medical Center. Of course I love animals, but I’m also very active. I love to kneeboard, wake-board, ski, swim, snowboard, draw and paint. I love to hang out with friends and family, an important aspect of my life. I don’t have any human children, only furry kids. I have a Lab/Aussie mix named Jodee, Border Collie/Heeler mix, Whiskey, the twin black cats, M.C. and Tech, and finally Rowdy, my hellion of a cat. I am currently 2 semesters away from getting my RVT license and soon after will be applying to medical school. I love Above and Beyond because of the people I’m surrounded by. They are the sweetest, most caring people you could ever meet. They are all concerned with the growth and progression of the clinic as a whole and will do anything to help.
My name is Morgan and I started working at the Hospital in June 2009. I have recently gotten engaged to my boyfriend and I am currently a Pre-Vet student. I love to swim and Rodeo when I am not busy with work and school. I have a blue heeler named Trixie, a calico cat named Paisley, and a corn snake named Tandy. I love working at Above and Beyond because the clients and staff are so friendly and as I like to say “the doctors rock”! Hope to see you soon.
Hi my name is Sarah. I joined the Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital team in February 2010. I graduated from Texas Tech in December of 2009 with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and I also received an equine certificate. I have been showing and riding horses since I was 2 years old. When I am not working, I love to ski and be with my family and friends. My furry family includes my 3 horses, Kip, Buz, and Lola, my cat Kiki, and my 2 dogs, Hershey and Rita. I like working at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital because it is a great atmosphere, with great people and most of all I get to work with animals. Receptionists
My name is Rebecca and I became apart of the Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital team in February 2010. I am originally from Dallas, but I did spend some of my life on an Air Force Base in the Azores (islands off the coast of Portugal). I graduated from Texas Tech in May 2010. I have two cats, a Ragdoll named Sammy and a Domestic Short Hair named Smudge, that I rescued. I like working at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital because the staff and clients are extremely friendly and outgoing. I love how I am considered family and I hope to see you soon!
My name is Michal and I have worked at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital since September 2010. I currently split my time between working up front as a receptionist and helping out with the resort as a boarding attendant. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M Commerce and have a life long goal of opening a zoo one day. I married my husband, Mark in July 2009. We have a beagle lab mix named Boo. I like working at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital because their priority is to make things right for their staff, patients and clients. This is a very caring, family-like atmosphere here and I am glad I am a part of it.
Pet Care Assistant
My name is Lori and I have work at Above and Beyond Pet Care hospital since November 2008. I attended Texas Tech, worked for a few years and then took 20 years off to raise my two girls. When my youngest left home I decided to go back to work because I love pets! I have a beagle mix named Raider and four longhaired Dachshunds, Colby, Petey, Daisy, and Tink. I started coming to Above and Beyond about a year and a half before I started working here. Dr. J and Dr. Oden help my dogs Tink and Raider get well and after that I wanted to work here because of the quality of care my dogs received. This hospital has the best staff and doctors in Lubbock. I hope you get to meet them all soon.
