Patient Arrival Policy
For both our patient’s and client’s protection, all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier and properly restrained while in our reception area. If you do not have a leash or carrier, we will gladly loan one for you to use.
We encourage clients to call ahead for appointments so that we can be sure to allow sufficient time in our schedule to meet our patients' needs. Planned appointment times help us to minimize client waiting time. Please keep in mind that your appointment time is reserved especially for you. If you are unable to make your appointment, we greatly appreciate 24 hour advance notice so that we may reschedule your pet and allow another pet the opportunity to come in your place.
Please be aware that emergencies are always given priority and may at times result in delays for regular appointments. We know your time is important and we do make every effort to stay on schedule. We appreciate your understanding and patience. If your pet is having an emergency, please be aware that emergencies fees and after hour fees may apply to emergency situations and deposits may be required.
If an appointment is not convenient, we do allow pets to be dropped off for examination and treatment. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave them with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, they will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
Some anesthetic procedures require a $25 deposit at the time they are scheduled. In most situations, a deposit will be collected for hospitalized patients. The deposit amount is determined based on the anticipated final invoice. All deposits are applied to the balance of the procedure and is refundable with a 24 hr cancellation. If the surgery is rescheduled, the deposit will remain on the account until the procedure is completed.
For your convenience, we accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit and personal checks. There is a $25.00 return check fee for any check that is returned Non Sufficient Funds. Payment is due when services are rendered and a handling fee may apply on service left unpaid.
If at any time you would like an estimate on fees prior treatment, please feel free to ask for one and we will gladly prepare one for you. Some treatments will require an exam in order to give a complete estimate.
We do not collect or give out any information to any third party vendors or Internet businesses. No information will ever be disclosed to outside parties from us. Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of its clients, its patients and those individuals who simply visit our site. Your privacy is also protected in our hospital. At no time is any information given out about the client or the pet without the consent of the owner.
Pet Resort Policies
Reservations will be accepted but not guaranteed without verification of requirements.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least two days prior to your arrival date. Holiday stays require a 2 week advanced cancellation and the room must be booked by another client for your deposit to be refunded. AABPCH&R reserves the right to charge late cancellation fees.
We require a non-refundable deposit of $75/room reserved for all major holidays (Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving).
Please be aware that we are generally at full capacity for all major holidays. We do keep a waiting list and in the event that we have a cancellation, and will call clients in the order requests were received. Call early to reserve your holiday boarding reservations!
Check-In and Check-Out
AABPCH&R only allows check-in and check outs during our normal pet resort hours (any pick ups or drop offs outside of our regular resort hours will incur an additional fee and are not recommended):
Monday through Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
Sunday 4:00pm-6:00pm (both pickups and drop-offs)
