Sure you’ve been told it was a mix of this or that, but now there is a blood test
that can tell you about your dog’s breed(s). Wisdom Panel Professional is our gold standard genetic analysis for mixed-breed dogs. This test not only detects over 200 breeds, types and varieties that may be present in a mixed-breed dog, but it pre-screens for certain breed-related health risks, predicts the likely adult weight range of a puppy and offers a validated accuracy measure of 90%.* The test uses a tiny blood sample taken during a dog’s routine veterinary check up. Blood is necessary for this test because it provides the highest quality DNA sample for analysis and it is different from the Wisdom Panel Insight.
